BrewDog’s Bold Dubai Debut: First Bar to Open This Week at Bluewaters

BrewDog, the globally renowned Scottish craft beer brand, is opening its first-ever Dubai bar this Friday, May 23, on Bluewaters Island. Known for its unapologetically rebellious spirit, quirky themes, and flavor-packed brews, BrewDog is set to redefine the city’s bar experience with more than just beer on tap.

Not only will this be BrewDog’s first bar in the UAE, but it also marks its GCC debut—and the start of a bigger regional expansion, with plans to open eight more locations across Dubai over the next five years.

What to Expect at the BrewDog Dubai Bar

Forget everything you know about traditional pubs. BrewDog Dubai is bringing a whole new vibe.

The sprawling venue, set across two floors, features two massive bars, three open-air terraces, and stunning views of Ain Dubai and the JBR coastline. It’s part laid-back beach hangout, part high-energy social hub—and 100% BrewDog.

Here’s what makes it stand out:

  • 22 pour taps serving BrewDog’s most iconic and seasonal craft beers
  • A classic food menu packed with bar favorites and pub grub
  • Augmented reality darts and duckpin bowling
  • Dedicated remote working areas for daytime laptop warriors
  • A packed calendar of live music and events

From daytime lounging to after-dark energy, it’s designed to be the kind of place where there’s always something happening.

Craft Hops, Classic Grub, and Punk Attitude

BrewDog started in Aberdeen in 2010 with two friends and a bold vision, growing into a global craft beer empire.

Now, the brand is making its Middle East debut with the help of Rise Hospitality, a local partner committed to bringing a fresh, edgy experience to Dubai’s hospitality landscape.

“This is a bar that sets a new benchmark for the city,” said N. Daud, CEO of Rise Hospitality. “We’re thrilled to bring BrewDog to Dubai, combining its iconic hops, food, gaming, and live music under one roof.”

The brand’s lineup includes beers inspired by everything from punk rock and Elvis Presley to Willy Wonka—with no shortage of personality in every pour. Guests can expect cult favorites like Punk IPA, Elvis Juice, and other experimental brews that have defined BrewDog’s place in the industry.

Opening Night Perks and Launch Weekend Specials

If you’re planning to be among the first through the doors, it could pay off—literally.

The first 200 guests on opening night (Friday, May 23 at 6pm) will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win free BrewDog hops for an entire year.

And that’s not all. Launch-only specials will include:

  • Exclusive giveaways
  • Limited-time food pairings
  • Craft hops priced under AED 20 throughout the weekend

Whether you’re a craft beer connoisseur or just looking for a cool new hangout, BrewDog’s opening weekend is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated events of the month.

A New Chapter in Dubai’s Nightlife Evolution

Dubai has no shortage of high-end lounges and luxury rooftops—but BrewDog is carving out a space that feels refreshingly unfiltered.

It’s fun without being fussy. Cool without the pretense. And for many residents and tourists alike, it’s a welcome addition to the city’s fast-evolving hospitality scene.

BrewDog Dubai blends craft culture, entertainment, and social energy to spark a movement.

Get Ready for the BrewDog Takeover

BrewDog’s opening at Bluewaters marks only the beginning. With eight more Dubai locations planned in the coming years, the brand is clearly betting big on the UAE.

And if its global success is any indication, this expansion is likely to stir up a whole new level of excitement among beer lovers, foodies, and nightlife fans across the region.

Whether you want a cold beer, a creative workspace, or a lively weekend, BrewDog Dubai has you covered.

Doors open at 6 pm on Friday, May 23 at Bluewaters Island.
