Breaking: HH Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohammed Bin Zayed Appointed As Crown Prince Of Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi ruler and UAE’s President, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has announced the name of the UAE Vice President and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. In a series of appointments, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed is appointed as Vice President of the UAE, and Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohamed named Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed and Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed as Deputy Rulers of Abu Dhabi. Read on for the deets.

President Of UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with the approval of the UAE Federal Supreme Council, appoints His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Minister of Presidential Court, as UAE Vice President, alongside His Highness Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Mansour is also the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development. He is a member of the Abu Dhabi Supreme Petroleum Council and sits on the boards of numerous investment institutions. Born on November 21, 1970, in Abu Dhabi, he has chaired the National Archives in 2000, Abu Dhabi Development Fund in 2005, the Board of Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority in 2005, and the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department in 2006.

Sheikh Khaled has served as a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office and was previously appointed as Head of National Security on February 15, 2016. He has also been part of some of the biggest projects like Hub71, Ghadan 21 and more. Sheikh Khaled has also been a huge promoter of sports and is an art lover too.
