Art Dubai is gearing up for its highly anticipated 17th edition, promising a stunning array of new commissions, premieres, and an extensive education program. From Friday, March 1, to Sunday, March 3, Madinat Jumeirah will transform into a hub of artistic brilliance, welcoming attendees to immerse themselves in the global celebration of creativity.

Diverse Commissions and Premieres

Internationally renowned artists are set to take center stage, unveiling major new commissions and premieres that will captivate art enthusiasts. This year’s edition reflects the vibrant and multicultural communities of Dubai, offering unprecedented opportunities for artists from the Global South.

Education and Cultural Enrichment

Beyond the art displays, Art Dubai 2024 is committed to providing an enriching experience. An extensive education program, along with talks and thought-leadership sessions, will foster a deeper understanding of the transformative power of art. The A.R.M. Holding Children’s Programme by Sahil Naik, a Goa-based artist, is a notable initiative set to engage with over 100 schools and 15,000 students.

Art Dubai welcomes everyone to join this cultural extravaganza, with tickets starting at Dhs100 for a one-day pass and Dhs180 for a three-day pass. The event emphasizes accessibility, offering free parking at the Dubai Police Academy for attendees opting to drive. Public transportation and taxis are also convenient options for those commuting to and from the fair.

Heartbeat of Art: Krista Kim’s “Heart Space”

One of the highlights of Art Dubai 2024 is the digital installation “Heart Space” by Canadian-Korean artist Krista Kim. Presented by lead partner Julius Baer of the Swiss Wealth Management Group, this immersive experience allows guests to connect through the universal language of the human heartbeat. The dynamic LED canvas captures visitors’ heart rhythms, creating a mesmerizing display.
