Arjun Kapoor backs 11-year-old girl’s dream of representing India in cricket

Amidst the sea of young girls pursuing their dreams of becoming professional cricketers in cricket-crazy India, Arjun Kapoor has emerged as a beacon of hope for one particularly determined 11-year-old. Anisha Rout, who idolizes the Indian cricketing legend, Sachin Tendulkar, trains tirelessly for eight hours a day, seven days a week, travelling a staggering 80 kilometres in pursuit of her passion. Kapoor’s generous sponsorship has helped to support this promising young talent in her quest for excellence, inspiring other young girls to chase their dreams of global glory in the sport. With the recent success of India’s women’s cricket team, the future is looking brighter than ever for aspiring cricketers like Anisha.

Prabhat, a hardworking supervisor, is determined to do whatever it takes to help his daughter Anisha achieve her dream of playing cricket for India. However, the cost of providing her with the best training and equipment is a financial burden for the family. Fortunately, Arjun Kapoor has once again demonstrated his philanthropic spirit by stepping in to sponsor Anisha’s equipment costs until she reaches the age of 18. Anisha’s father expresses his gratitude, saying “As parents, we want the best for our child but training to become a world-class cricketer is expensive. Anisha wants to earn the India cap and bring glory to our country like Sachin Tendulkar. As a father, I need to empower her so that she can try to do that and become an inspiration for others like her for generations to come. This help from Arjun Kapoor is a godsend. It takes a lot of load off my shoulders and I can’t thank him enough. It is important for Anisha to get the best equipment as a cricketer and now she will have everything till she turns 18!”

Anisha Rout is an 11-year-old girl who resides in Panvel, Maharashtra, and trains rigorously for eight hours a day to pursue her dream of becoming a professional cricketer. Her inspiration to play cricket came from watching the movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. She played Under-15 Women’s Cricket for Raigad District, Maharashtra, at the age of 10 and has scored three half-centuries in her previous matches. Anisha is currently playing for MIG Club under 15 and opens the batting for her team. The Women’s Premier League of India is considered the second most expensive women’s sports league in the world, providing a significant opportunity for Anisha to realize her dream of playing cricket at the highest level.

Arjun Kapoor’s generous sponsorship has made it possible for Anisha to pursue her passion with all the necessary equipment and facilities, enabling her to become an inspiration to others like her for generations to come.
