Ananya Panday Confesses to Imposter Syndrome, here’s what she said

Ananya Panday, our rising Gen Z queen of Bollywood, is owning the screen with her performances in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and Call Me Bae. But guess what? Despite being the girl-next-door turned superstar, she’s just as relatable as the rest of us. In her latest candid confession, Ananya admitted she’s battling some serious imposter syndrome. This is especially when she sees herself splashed across billboards. The starlet still can’t believe her own stardom!

Ananya Panday on Billboards, Fame & Still in Shock?!

In a heart-to-heart with News18 Showsha, Ananya opened up about how surreal fame can feel, saying she’s often thrown off when people mention her name in interviews. “During interviews and stuff, I feel like my name isn’t really mine, and it makes me feel like a third person,” she said. Can you imagine being so famous that you forget you’re the Ananya Panday? Talk about a plot twist! Whether it’s watching herself on-screen or spotting her face on massive billboards, Ananya feels like an audience member, totally disconnected from the glamorous star we all see.

Our girl isn’t just battling imposter syndrome, but she’s also super hard on herself. Ananya dished out how she’s constantly second-guessing her performances, even when the director gives her the green light. She said that if it were up to me, she would reshoot everything!.. But hey, we’ve all seen her slay the screen, so maybe she’s being a little too modest?

Ananya Panday’s upcoming projects

Ananya is all set to blow our minds in CTRL, her upcoming cyber-thriller with Vihaan Samat. This time, she’s diving deep into the world of AI and social media, and we already know it’s going to be one wild ride. With Vikramaditya Motwane at the helm, CTRL is about to take Netflix by storm on October 4, 2024.

As if one release isn’t enough, fans can also look forward to Ananya’s return in Call Me Bae season 2. Looks like our Gen Z superstar is booked, busy, and ready to conquer it all!
