In a shocking incident, an anonymous caller threatened to blow up the luxurious homes of Bollywood’s most beloved and veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra along with the palatial house of Businessman Mukesh Ambani in Mumbai. As per reports, the Nagpur police received the ominous bomb threat call on February 28, and they promptly alerted the Mumbai police, who have initiated a comprehensive investigation into the matter. While the veracity of the call remains uncertain, the Mumbai police are not willing to take any chances and are dealing with the situation with the utmost gravity.
Amitabh Bachchan, a renowned Bollywood icon, boasts of owning not one but five exquisitely designed estates in Mumbai – Jalsa, Janak, Vatsa, and Prateeksha. The latter, which served as the home of Amitabh’s parents, holds a special place in the Bachchan family’s heart as it was their first property in the city. Presently, the entire family has made Jalsa their residence of choice. Meanwhile, Dharmendra, another veteran actor, has found his haven in a sprawling bungalow located in the upmarket suburb of Juhu. Mukesh Ambani, one of India’s wealthiest businessmen, has made headlines for his extraordinary abode ‘Antilia,’ which stands tall as a tourist attraction in its own right.
The Bachchan clan has once again found themselves in the midst of a grave danger, but it’s not a new ordeal for them. The year 2021 witnessed the Mumbai police taking two individuals into custody who were responsible for disseminating false rumors of planting explosives at the Bachchan’s abode and three railway stations, causing a great deal of distress to the family and authorities alike.
Amidst the looming danger, the highest court of the land has intervened, demanding that the Centre bestows Mukesh Ambani and his family with Z+ security cover, both within the borders of the country and abroad. Reports suggest that the Ambani household has already been granted this fortified shield in light of the potential threat.
The Mumbai police have assured the public that they are doing everything in their power to ensure the safety of the celebrities and their families. We hope that the matter is resolved soon.
On the work front, Bachchan was last seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Uunchai last year’, which also starred Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa and Parineeti Chopra. Big B will soon be seen in Ribhu Dasgupta’s upcoming courtroom thriller drama ‘Section 84’. Dharmendra will next be seen in the web series ‘Taj: Divided By Blood’ and Karan Johar’s film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, which stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
