Alia Bhatt is mourning a significant loss as her beloved grandfather, Narendranath Razdan, peacefully passed away at the age of 94 on June 1. Accrording to reports, he had been battling a critical health condition for some time now and was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital due to a lung infection. As his condition deteriorated, he was moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
In a heartfelt tribute, Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to share a sweet throwback video from her grandfather’s birthday celebrations where he shares his wise words and tells “smile all the time”. With emotions running deep, she expressed her profound sadness and penned a heartfelt caption, pouring out her feelings of loss and remembrance.

On the other hand, Soni Razdan, Alia Bhatt’s mother, is the daughter of the late Narendranath Razdan. Soni also took to her Instagram for her daddy calling him their ‘angel on earth’.
