Bollywood OG Khiladi, Akshay Kumar is renowned for his daredevilry and fearless stunts, he hardly uses a body double. But, as they say, even the mightiest fall sometimes. While shooting for the action-packed film, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, alongside his co-star, Tiger Shroff, in the picturesque landscapes of Scotland, the Khiladi himself suffered a setback. During an adrenaline-fueled stunt, he sustained a knee injury that left him wincing in agony. Sources reveal that the action scene was no ordinary feat, but an immensely risky one.
While the action portions of the film have been put on hold for now, Akshay is continuing to shoot his close-ups so that the Scotland schedule can be wrapped up on time. According to sources, the injury is not serious, and Akshay is wearing knee braces to aid his recovery.

Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ is a much-awaited action entertainer that also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Prithviraj Sukumaran and is scheduled for December 2023. The movie is a follow-up to the hit 1998 comedy film of the same name, which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda and was directed by David Dhawan. ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ marks the beginning of an action franchise, and the film is being produced by Jackky Bhagnani’s Pooja Entertainment in association with Zafar’s AAZ films.
Despite the injury, Akshay Kumar remains committed to the project and is determined to finish the film on schedule. Fans of the Khiladi can rest assured that their favourite action hero will be back in action soon enough. Where there is Akshay, there is action!
