Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan coming together for Singham Again and We’re already counting the days! With Rohit Shetty adding Chulbul Pandey to his iconic cop universe, this Diwali promises to be nothing short of a blockbuster. Alongside Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, this film is topping everyone’s must-watch list. But before the dhamaka, Ajay Devgn opened up about a not-so-glamorous moment while filming Singham Again, and it involves a pretty intense on-set injury that left us gasping.
Ajay Devgn opens up on getting injured on Singham again sets
In a recent Bigg Boss 18 episode, where Ajay Devgn appeared with director Rohit Shetty, the star spilled some major tea about a close call on the set. You know the conversation was as explosive as it gets. When Salman asked about the injury, Ajay shared how things took a dangerous turn during an action sequence.
Salman set the scene, explaining how a stick fight went horribly wrong due to some mistiming. ““Ajay showed me a shot. There was a mistiming, and a person came to beat him with a stick, and its timing went off. So it straight hit him in the eye,” he recalled. Now, this wasn’t just a little scratch! Ajay revealed that his vision went blurry for almost three months, and he even had to undergo surgery. “Do-teen mahine toh vision chali gayi thi,” he said, talking about the scary ordeal.
Action Comes with Risks, Says Ajay
Salman kept it real, reminding everyone that these are the risks of action-packed filmmaking. “Action karoge toh ye sab hota rehta hai (if you do action all this is bound to happen),” he remarked, to which Ajay nodded in agreement, adding a bit of nostalgia. The OG Singham recalled how back in the day, they didn’t have CGI or fancy cables. He reminisced about how they used to perform stunts in old-school Bollywood style.
About Singham Again
Directed by action maestro Rohit Shetty, Singham Again brings Ajay back as the fierce Bajirao Singham, and this time he’s not alone. The movie promises to pack a punch with an epic star-studded cast, including Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. With Salman Khan making a special appearance, this one’s shaping up to be the mother of all cop dramas. And if the previous films – Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014) – are anything to go by, expect this third instalment to smash some serious box office records.
What’s Next for Salman Khan
While Singham Again gears up to light up Diwali, Salman Khan has plenty more in store. He’ll be back in action with Kick 2, alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, set to release soon. He also has the film Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, where he’ll be sharing the screen with Rashmika Mandanna, hitting cinemas this EID 2025
