Abhishek Bachchan Returns to Comedy with Housefull 5!
In a statement dripping with excitement, Abhishek Bachchan expressed his delight at joining the Housefull family once more, likening it to “returning home.” With his signature wit and infectious energy, Abhishek can’t wait to hit the sets and have a blast with his co-stars Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. But that’s not all! Abhishek is also stoked about reuniting with his buddy Tarun Mansukhani, promising fans a rollercoaster ride of laughs reminiscent of their previous collaboration in ‘Dostana.’
“Housefull is one of my favourite comedy franchises and coming back feels like returning home. It’s always been a great pleasure to work with Sajid Nadiadwala. I am looking forward to having mad fun on the sets with my fellow actors Akshay (Kumar) and Riteish (Deshmukh). I’m also so excited to collaborate again with my dear friend Tarun Mansukhani. I’m really looking forward to working with him again after Dostana. This is going to be a lot of fun”.

Producer extraordinaire Sajid Nadiadwala couldn’t contain his excitement at having Abhishek on board for ‘Housefull 5.’ He says, “I am thrilled to bring back Abhishek to the Housefull franchise. His dedication, comic time, and sincerity will only elevate our film.”

Directed by the maestro Tarun Mansukhani, ‘Housefull 5’ promises to be an epic comedy adventure like never before! With filming set to take place entirely on a cruise ship, this latest installment in the Housefull saga is gearing up to be a logistical marvel. Alongside Abhishek, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and a slew of other talented stars are all set to set sail on this laughter-filled journey. The film is slated to release on June 6, 2025.
