flydubai partners with TAROM to add 15 new European destinations for Dubai travellers

The Dubai-based airline expands its network with Romania’s national carrier, offering seamless access to major cities across Europe.

Flydubai has strengthened its European network through a new interline agreement with TAROM, Romania’s flagship airline. The partnership unlocks 15 additional destinations for passengers travelling from Dubai International (DXB), making European holidays and business trips more accessible than ever.

More choices across Europe

Through this agreement, travellers can now book journeys to major cities including Athens, Amsterdam, Brussels, Madrid, Paris, and Frankfurt with a single ticket. Baggage will be checked through to the final stop, streamlining the connection via TAROM’s hub in Bucharest.

For Dubai residents, this development adds greater flexibility and simplifies planning, especially for those who frequently travel for both leisure and work.

Expanding routes from Dubai

flydubai currently operates double daily flights to Bucharest Henri Coand? International Airport (OTP). Beginning 19 September 2025, Ia?i will become the second Romanian city on the airline’s schedule, further reinforcing Dubai’s links with Eastern and Central Europe.

The move reflects flydubai’s ongoing efforts to broaden its European reach, ensuring UAE travellers benefit from stronger connectivity and easier access to regional markets.

Travel experience on board flydubai

Passengers choosing Business Class can expect lie-flat seats, regionally inspired menus, and a wide library of in-flight entertainment. Economy Class travellers can also look forward to a comfortable journey with reclining seats and adjustable headrests, designed for both short and longer connections.

A boost for tourism and trade

The expanded network is expected to enhance tourism between the UAE and Europe, while also creating opportunities for business exchange and cultural connections. By linking Dubai with TAROM’s regional network, both airlines are strengthening the role of DXB as a hub for global connectivity.

This collaboration comes at a time when demand for travel between Dubai and Europe continues to grow. With more destinations now available, residents and visitors in the UAE have new reasons to explore Europe while enjoying the convenience of streamlined travel.

The flydubai and TAROM partnership opens up fresh opportunities for travellers in Dubai, offering 15 new destinations with simplified booking and connections. Whether for leisure or business, the agreement provides greater value and flexibility.
