10 Things To Do In UAE During The Eid Break

Eid Al Fitr is almost around the corner, and for now, UAE residents will enjoy a long weekend from April 20-23. And while many people have already planned trips to Georgia, Maldives, Oman and other plans, there are quite a lot who haven’t planned anything for Eid. And if you are one of them, here are 10 things you can do in UAE during Eid Al Fitr weekend.

1. Visit Crocodile Park In Dubai

Just before Eid, Dubai’s much-anticipated Dubai Crocodile Park will open its door to the public on April 18th. Located in Mushrif Park, you can visit the park from 10 AM to 10 PM. Tickets cost AED95 per adult and AED75 for children aged 3 to 12. In terms of attraction, one can experience tons of unique things and get a close-up view of crocodiles from various points.

2. Spectacular Fireworks Display, UAE

To celebrate the festive spirit of Eid, all the emirates across UAE will have a spectacular fireworks display. Dubai-ites can enjoy fireworks in Bluewaters Island, Global Village, Expo City, Dubai Parks & Resorts, and other places. In Abu Dhabi, you can enjoy the fireworks display at Yas Island, Hudayriyat Island and Al Mugheirah Bay.

3. Visit Global Village, Dubai

The 27th season of Global Village is ending in April, and during the Eid weekend, the budget-family destination will host tons of Eid activities. In fact, for the Eid weekend, Global Village has planned to extend the timings. You will be able to access the park from 4 PM until 2 AM.

4. Head To Ras Al Khaimah For Adventure Activities

If you love adventure, Ras Al Khaimah is the perfect place to visit over the Eid weekend. You can experience the world’s longest zipline, also known as Jais Flight. Travelling at 120 kmph and 160 kmph, the three minutes of adrenaline-pumping adventure lets you experience deep ravines, canyons and majestic peaks. The ticket per person is priced at AED360 and is worth the amount. Besides this, if you are looking for something less adventurous, Jais Sky Tour is perfect for you.

5. Go For A Roadtrip to Jebel Jais

The highest and one of the most beautiful mountains in the UAE, Jebel Jais is around 180 km from Dubai, and the unwinding roads make it perfect for a road trip. There are camping zones available, so if you want to stay overnight, camping is the best idea. Both sunrise and sunset are beautiful in Jebel Jais, and with an overnight stay, you can experience the best of both world.

6. Take Your Kids To World’s Largest Indoor Theme Park, Warner Bros.

Planning to spend some extra time with your kids over the EID holidays? Or want to relive your childhood with your friends. In any case, Abu Dhabi’s Warner Bros. World is the perfect option for you. It is the world’s largest indoor theme park and has all your favourite cartoon characters under one roof. It is best for kids and a great place to spend quality time with your family. They have tons of eateries inside, so you can easily spend an entire day here. Entry ticket starts from AED395.

7. Check Out UAE’s Largest Indoor Adventure Park In Abu Dhabi

The much-awaited, adventure park, Adrenark in Al Qana, Abu Dhabi’s most lively waterfront destination is set to open during Eid. Appealing to all ages, Adrenark Adventure is a physically interactive and immersive indoor adventure park and features 20 different exhilarating activities including climbing walls, rope courses, thrill rides, stunt bag jumps, and for the first time in the UAE a multi-level E-karting track that climbs three floors inside the building. It is set to open this Eid al Fitr, and will be be open between 10am and 10pm from Saturday to Wednesday, and from 10am until midnight on Thursdays and Fridays.

8. Race Tokyo Drift Style At Sharjah’s Largest Karting Track

UAE’s cultural capital- Sharjah, has launched the emirate’s largest racing track. Yep, you read that right! The newest and largest racing track in Sharjah is spread across 1.4 kilometres and has six unique track configurations.With its six unique track configurations, Karting Town-Sharjah offers fast-flowing straights, highly technical corners and more, making it perfect for enjoying some speed and thrills on the track. The outdoor circuit can be used by kids and adults, and timings are, Sunday – Saturday, 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Time duration per ride is 15-minutes, including lapse, and gives you a complete F1 circuit feel. Price for adults is AED135 and for kids is AED105. You need to arrive 30 minutes prior, and wearing sports shoes is a must.

9. Savour Eid-Al-Fitr Feast At Punjab Grill

Punjab Grill, the Michelin Guide and Gault Millau featured an Indian fine-dining restaurant in Dubai, and Abu Dhabi invites you to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr with a sumptuous & Royal feast of traditional delicacies from North West Frontier. From April 20th to 23rd, all day long, guests can indulge in an authentic and flavorful Non-Vegetarian or Vegetarian Eid menu, priced at AED 250 all-inclusive per person.
